1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account and using UANI, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use UANI. By creating an account, you represent that:

• You are at least 18 years of age
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• You are not prohibited from using the service under applicable law
• You have not been previously banned or removed from UANI

3. Account Registration and Security

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• You must complete our mandatory 3-step identity verification (phone number, government ID, and selfie biometric match) before accessing the platform
• All profile photos must accurately represent you and will be verified against your selfie using facial recognition technology
• You may only create one account
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Community Guidelines

To maintain a safe and respectful community, users must NOT:

Prohibited Conduct

• Harassment: Harass, bully, stalk, intimidate, or threaten other users
• Hate Speech: Post content that promotes violence or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or age
• Sexual Content: Share sexually explicit content, solicit sexual services, or engage in sexual harassment
• Violence: Promote, glorify, or threaten violence against any person or group
• Illegal Activity: Use UANI for any illegal purpose, including drug sales, human trafficking, or soliciting prostitution
• Scams and Fraud: Impersonate others, create fake profiles, or engage in fraudulent activity
• Spam: Send unsolicited commercial messages or spam
• Minors: Interact with or share content depicting minors in any inappropriate way

Profile Guidelines

• Use real, recent photos of yourself (no group photos as main photo)
• All photos must pass facial recognition verification against your verified selfie
• Do not use celebrity photos, AI-generated images, or photos of other people
• Keep your bio respectful and appropriate
• Do not include contact information in your profile (phone, email, social media)

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post, but by sharing content on UANI, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display your content for the purpose of operating and promoting the service.

You represent that you have all necessary rights to the content you post and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

6. Location Services

UANI requires access to your location to provide core functionality. By using UANI:

• You consent to the collection and use of your location data as described in our Privacy Policy
• You understand that your approximate location will be visible to other users when you check in
• You agree not to falsify your location or use location-spoofing tools

7. Payment, Fees, and Subscriptions

UANI offers both one-time purchases and auto-renewable subscriptions. By making a purchase:

• You agree to pay the stated price at the time of purchase
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• Payment is processed securely through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play
• Prices may change, but changes will not affect active subscriptions until renewal

Auto-Renewable Subscriptions

UANI may offer the following auto-renewable subscription options:

• UANI Premium Monthly: 1-month subscription, billed monthly

Subscription terms:

• Payment will be charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the subscription price
• You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings in the App Store or Google Play after purchase
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription

8. Intellectual Property

UANI and all associated logos, trademarks, and content are owned by UANI or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or exploit any part of the service without our written permission.

9. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of UANI
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts
• Use the service for any commercial purpose without our permission
• Collect or harvest user data without consent

10. Enforcement and Termination

We reserve the right to:

• Investigate and take appropriate action against violations of these Terms
• Remove content that violates our policies
• Warn, suspend, or permanently ban users who violate these Terms
• Report illegal activity to law enforcement
• Terminate or suspend the service at any time

You may delete your account at any time through the app or by visiting our Account Deletion page.

11. Disclaimers

UANI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• The accuracy or reliability of user-generated content
• That the service will meet your expectations
• That users are who they claim to be, despite verification efforts

You use UANI at your own risk. Always follow our Safety Guidelines when meeting people in person.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, UANI, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to harm caused by other users.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold UANI harmless from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the service.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [Your Jurisdiction].

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of UANI after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
